Include the following details when requesting a first batch, repeat order or replacement part.
- Part and application: describe the part and its application or machine; state whether this is a first batch, repeat order or replacement.
- Drawing and revision: drawing number, revision and any changes since the previous specification, where applicable.
- Material and dimensions: known material information, critical dimensions and tolerances.
- Quantity and timing: number of parts, requested timing and the expected reorder interval for repeat orders.
- Documentation: inspection or material documents required for your incoming inspection.
