Filters & Filter Elements
Averinox supplies all kind of filters or separators as per your specifications, based on woven wire mesh, knitted wire mesh, welded wire mesh, extruded netting and perforated plate. Extruded mesh and perforated media are often used as support. Averinox may also participate in the design & delivery of filter housings.
Filters & Filter Elements are mainly used within our activities: General Filtration, Dewatering & Drying and Filtration & Separation Supports.

Averinox delivers for example Pleated Filter Elements. The main filter medium of a pleated filter element is a sintered fiber web or a stainless steel ( sintered ) woven wire mesh. Stainless steel sintered fiber web is a kind of stainless steel medium, sintered into a graded pore structure.
Pleated filter elements enjoy the advantages of high porosity rate, large filtration area and a good dirt holding capacity. Applications: pleated filter elements are mainly used in for example filtration of high molecular polymers, hydraulic oil, disposal of water, hot gasses, etc.

Woven Wire Mesh can be used for all kind of filtration applications in several filter configurations, like a basket, a filter pack, etc. Crimped and/or corrugated woven mesh or welded mesh supports mostly finer filtration media. Filter Elements provided with sintered wire mesh and/or sintered non-woven web or particles are mainly used in filtration of high molecular polymer, hydraulic oil, disposal of water, etc.

V-wire elements are constructed of welded mesh and are able to withstand a high pressure.
A filter cloth pack consist of one or more separate layers of woven wire mesh packed together. Applications can be found for example in food pprocessing (eg. cocoa) and in the chemical industry (spinning of fibers and in extrusion processes). Main materials are stainless steel woven wire mesh and sometimes sintered wire mesh or sintered web.

Sintered mesh filter discs are usually constructed of some sintered mesh layers (AISI 316) and sometimes sintered non-woven web material or particles.

Knitted Mesh is applied for breather filters / or plugs. These filters are used in gear boxes for acoustic noise reduction.

Averinox is able to compress knitted wire mesh in different densities for a variety of applications, including mist elimination. Knitted mesh structures or fabrics may also be used in eg. seals.

Averinox is able to tensioning and confectioning filter meshes on all sorts of panels and frames. These type of filters are used in vibrating sieve systems. metal & synthetic mesh cloth or synthetic belt fabric can be confectioned for a variety of applications.

Other filter media are for example filter paper(s). Filter elements provided with (pleated) filter paper media are used in many (industrial) air or dust filtering applications, like marine diesel engines, compressors, rotating equipment, etc.
